We started our journey in 2014 as RAPID RESPONSE, and within six months had become a household name across Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. By 2015, we were operating in three counties with over 50 engineers. In 2025, we rebranded to NATIONWIDE CALL-OUTS as part of our plan to expand across the UK, aiming to launch a monthly subscription service by January 2027. Today, we have over 250 engineers across four counties, making us the largest independent plumbing and heating service in the UK. What sets us apart is how we pay our engineers: our rates are fair to both customer and engineer, and payment goes directly from the customer to the engineer after the job is completed, while we take our commission upfront during booking. The process is agreed upon in a recorded call and confirmed via a follow-up text. Think of it as free work—you focus on charming the customer and fixing the problem, while we handle advertising, admin, customer liaison, and bookings. We’re far from perfect, but our CEO, Ashley Doughty, works tirelessly to build networks and improve operations. We’re proud of where we are and even more excited about where we’re heading.
